Featured in the exhibition are Margaret's trademark earrings by her friend Margaret Kirkwood. Now excuse me while I try to find the facebook page for Margaret Pomeranz's Earrings!

Ice Ice Baby!

Bought myself a treat today - icey pole molds shaped as rings! The description on the website suggests that the rings are for children, but I think all jewellers should own a set.

I wish I was able to get to the exhibition 'Eye Catch: Jewellery and Photography' on at Object Space in New Zealand! Coming from a background in costume design, I'm particularly interested in the role of jewellery in portraiture. People watching (from a cafe - not in a creepy way) has to be one of my favourite pass-times. The reasons why an individual decides to adorn themselves with a particular item fills me with endless fascination!
